OUR STORY
Originally called Office Furniture & Design Concepts, OFDC began serving Southwest Florida in 1974. In 2003, late Michigan State Senator Glenn Steil purchased the business and partnered with our current CEO, Joe Gammons. Under Joe’s leadership, OFDC became a leader in commercial office design.
Joe expanded the company’s focus to include commercial flooring alongside furniture—a critical step in our growth. In 2018, we embraced this evolution with a new name: OFDC Commercial Interiors.
As workplace trends evolved, so did we. We stayed ahead of innovations like sit-to-stand desks, technology integration, and ergonomic solutions that drive employee productivity and satisfaction.

In return, the philanthropically minded business has donated more than $325,000 to a variety of local, charitable causes throughout the past 10 years alone. These donations have provided Christmas meals to underprivileged families, subsidized lifesaving pediatric oncology and hematology services for children with cancer, and scholarships for students attending local colleges and universities.
In addition, the OFDC team has donated many thousands of dollars in design services, furniture and commercial flooring to organizations that expressed a need and fit its criteria.
