Juan Diego Vasquez, an account executive with OFDC Commercial Interiors, has been named a Next Gen honoree by the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance’s Young Leaders Alliance.
The Next Gen recognition program highlights bright, hardworking young professionals who are making a positive impact within their company.
Established in 2005, the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance (LWRBA) represents more than 500 member businesses and 2,500 business professionals. The organization’s mission is to connect, educate and strengthen the region’s business community. The LWRBA’s Young Leaders Alliance is focused on empowering and equipping young professionals, and helping them build authentic relationships by harnessing the “Power of Connection.”
“I look forward to building connections with other rising professionals in Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota and Bradenton,” Vasquez said. “Fostering strong B2B relationships at both the company and individual levels will help strengthen our region overall.”
A former concierge and front desk associate for Ritz-Carlton, Vasquez began working at OFDC in 2016 as a trainee, quickly advancing into key sales and leadership positions. His portfolio includes more than 40 active clients and is currently is helping grow OFDC’s furniture division in the highly competitive Sarasota/Bradenton market. Vasquez also is the company’s representative for several local chambers and community organizations.
In 2020, Business Observer recognized Vasquez as a 40 Under 40 honoree. Vasquez, who is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, is a passionate volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast.
Vasquez earned associate degrees in hospitality administration from Miami Dade College and business administration and management from Florida SouthWestern State College.
