Originally called Office Furniture & Design Concepts, Inc., OFDC Commercial Interiors first started serving the local Southwest Florida community in 1974. Then, in 2003, the late Michigan State Senator Glenn Steil purchased the business and partnered with our current CEO, Joe Gammons. With Joe’s investment and leadership, OFDC quickly became a leader in the commercial office design industry.
OFDC Commercial Interiors continued to thrive, thanks to Joe’s successful expansion of the company’s focus to include commercial flooring, alongside furniture. This diversification proved a critical step in growth and, in 2018, the company changed its name to OFDC Commercial Interiors.
Further success followed as the company continue its focus on exceptional service, high-quality products and right-sized, knowledgeable design solutions. In time, consumer trends in the workplace evolved as new innovations like sit-to-stand products and technology integration became more common. Advances in ergonomics brought increased employee productivity and satisfaction.
